These
piles can be formed in diameters up to 4.5 metres and to 110 metres
in depth in rock of strengths up to 200 MPa UCS, drilling in the
dry in stable formations, or using water or other drilling fluid
to support unstable soil, particularly below ground water level.
Temporary or permanent casing may also be options.
Improvement
of pile capacity under compression and tension loading, can be
achieved by socketing into bedrock, where this is encountered
at a feasible depth.
Vibro-pile
has developed special equipment for forming high quality rock
sockets, and has constructed such piles with load capacities as
high as 80 MN.
Selection
of appropriate tooling and cutting edges is facilitated by the
availability of a wide range of tooling and cutting teeth. This
is enhanced by our own range of cutting teeth, manufactured to
our exclusive design.
Our
extensive range of drilling equipment and expertise, enables us
to accommodate most requirements, with a capability only born
out of extensive experience.
