Vibropile specialises in the installation of this environmentally friendly piling system. Possessing the high-load bearing properties of other displacement systems and generating no spoil, it is also low noise and vibration free.
Vibropile employs its in-house developed range of ‘V' augers to construct these piles. The ‘V' pile is the most eco-friendly piling method available; being a displacement system, minimal or no spoil is generated, making the ‘V' pile a preferred option for contaminated soil affected sites. Additionally the disturbing noise and vibration associated with the driven types of displacement pile is eliminated through this method, making it ideal for an urban environment.
With similar attributes and applications to CFA piling, this system has the bonus of additional capacity generated from the improved soil to shaft adhesion of a displacement pile. Installation of the ‘V' pile is a similar to CFA piling, but with special augers compacting and displacing soil laterally rather than excavating it.

All aspects of the installation procedure are monitored by on-board computers, which allow the operator to accurately control all facets of the construction process. Project engineers are also able to review the entire process, immediately following installation, or at any time during the installation, by accessing the rig computer via the GSM telecommunication network.
Displacement piles are also commonly used as a hybrid ground improvement or foundation solution under roads, embankments, slabs and tanks as a settlement reducer. Installed on a 1.5m - 2.5m grid spacings from low strength concrete or grout, by Displacment of CFA methods.
